Show me where! does not collect your personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking.

The short version: Everything you put into Show me where! — your rooms, photos, notes, scan locations, and 3D scans — stays on your iPhone and, if enabled, in your private iCloud backup. We never receive it, never see it, and never store it on our servers. We don't operate servers for your content at all.
Show me where! is developed by Judge Dean LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the iOS app handles your information.
None. We do not collect, receive, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no sign-up, no login, no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers.
The app creates and stores the following locally on your iPhone, inside the app's private storage:
This information never leaves your device except in the ways you explicitly choose, described below.
The app can back up your home guide to your own private iCloud storage, in a container tied to your Apple Account. This is a service provided by Apple, not by us. We have no access to that container and cannot read your backup. You control it through your Apple Account and can disable iCloud Drive at any time in iOS Settings. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The app lets you deliberately share your home guide — for example, sending a printable PDF or a restorable backup file to a family member or caregiver using AirDrop, Messages, Mail, or Files. This only happens when you initiate it and choose a recipient. We are not a party to that transfer and receive no copy of it. Once you share a file with someone, that copy is theirs; please share only with people you trust.
Used to photograph items and to scan rooms in 3D. Images are processed on your device and saved into the app's private storage.
Used only if you record a walkthrough video with sound. Audio stays with that video on your device.
Used only if you choose to import an existing photo or video, or save a walkthrough video back to Photos.
Optional. When you allow location access, the app can save the location, coordinates, capture time, and accuracy with a successful room scan. It can also check whether you have arrived home if you enable home-arrival reminders. This information is stored with your private guide on your device and is included in your private iCloud backup and in guide or backup files you deliberately share. We never receive it and cannot access it. The app does not build a continuous location history. You can update or remove a scan location from the room screen, disable home-arrival reminders in the app, or turn off location access in iOS Settings. The rest of the app works normally without location access.
The app is free. It offers optional tips as a way to support development. Tips unlock no features. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see or receive your payment details, card number, or billing address. Apple provides us only aggregate, anonymous sales reporting.
Show me where! is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because we collect no data at all, no information about a child can be gathered by us through this app.
Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Your content lives on your device: you can remove a saved scan location from its room screen, deleting an item removes it from the app, and deleting the app removes its local storage. If you have used iCloud backup, you can remove that data through your Apple Account's iCloud storage settings.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to know whether it is sold. We do not collect, process, or sell any personal data through this app, so there is no data held by us to which these requests would apply. Your content is already fully in your possession and control on your own device. We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have.
If we ever change how the app handles information — for example, if a future feature involves transmitting data — we will update this page and change the date above before that feature ships. Material changes will also be described in the app's release notes.
